I still hear the songs
I still see the lights
I still feel your love
on cold wintery nights

I still share your hopes
and all of your cares
I'll even remind you
to please say your prayers

I just want to tell you
you still make me proud
you stand head and shoulders
above the crowd

Keep trying each moment
to stay in his grace
I came here before you
to help set your place

He forgives you the slip

since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn."

I've looked the whole wide world over
in my search for teachers true
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes...

Anita and Jim, I have selected You.

Now will you give her all your love,
nor think the labor vain.
Nor hate me when I come to call Courtney back again?

I fancied that I heard then say:
"Dear lord, Thy will be done!"
"For all the joy the child shall bring
the risk of grief will run."

We'll shelter Courtney with tenderness;
we'll love her while we may.
And for happiness we've known, forever grateful stay.

"But should the angels call her
much sooner than we'd planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief
that comes and try to understand."

God needed another angel,
To help him in the sky.

Of god's love is.

Although you may have passed away
I will still not say you are dead
I will only say you have gone away
But only for a little while

You have gone somewhere
where you are not in pain no more

where you can run and jump and be free again

where you can toss that cane around
and not give a care if it gets broken
because you will never need that again

You have gone somewhere
where you can see all the people
that also went away for a little while too

where u can see everyone

call us weird w/o us hearing

And to watch over each and every one of us you loved so dearly

I know that you're heartbroken
That I had to go away

If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane
We would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again

No farewell words were spoken no time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why

Our hearts will ache in sadness and secret tears will flow
what it means to lose you no one will ever know

But know we know you want us to mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times life still has much in store

Since you'll never be forgotten we pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts is where you'll always stay

We will miss you and you will never be fogotten...

Remember me when flowers bloom early in the spring.
Remember me on sunny days in the fun that summer brings.

You did some things

Every step I take is a constant reminder
Every thing I see and do I find her
For a moment imagine as I share my view
Through my eyes I see the world like this
The sun shines like her smile,
the soft rain her sweet kiss,
The sound of the wind blow,
Court says, "I love you"
A warm breeze is her hug, a soft, sweet squeeze

Now I sit and reminisce, memories to revisit
The flowers and cookies on my first visit
Your smile and hug I'll never forget it
Later on were random facts and who could forget House of Wax?
I can still here her laugh and say, "Look at Sherm squirm like a worm"
After the countless hours of music and TV
A hero and best friends she turned to be
Courtney was my missing sister from another Mrs. And Mr.

On May 14th an angel was born
Better yet transformed
Courtney was already an angel just missing her wings
I refuse to say goodbye
For me it's see you later until we reunite in the sky
I can't wait for the day to hold on tight and never let go.

Things to remember cherish and never forget
When things were simpler in life and we had no fear,
Everyday was an adventure even if we were only in the backyard.

All the attention was on us, our days were spent with fun and cheer,
Nothing could stop the smiles on out faces.
Holidays were made to be extra fun for us      
because our siblings were not born yet.

I remember us walking around the yard all dressed up      
in our little lace dresses.
Having Easter egg hunts and birthdays      
when all we had was family, friends

And a big party in the back yard. We did everything together.
You were my very first best friend and we grew up together.
Now your gone and everything I experience alone,
I will Experience alone.

All I have now is memories and photographs and      
a place in my heart just for you.
I could never forget you and I'll always cherish      
the days we spent together.

We may not have a lot of memories but we do have some,
Like the one-day in 4th grade we went on a field trip to the lemon House and we were eating lunch.

We told the other kids there were huge spiders on them. Hahaha.
We were bad, bad but cute.

As sad as I am, deep down I'm really happy for you.
I hope you're with God and enjoying heaven. I wont forget you.
I will always love you and miss you. I can't wait to be with You again.

It's horrible, just plain horrible
To know that she is inccurable

It makes me think this is unreal,
How could anyone ever find out how I feel?

She smiles just to hide the pain,
But it's obvious because she walks with a cane

Someday the pain will end,
I'm just grateful to be her cousin and her friend
