Despite the wind and cold, Saturday's Thunder Valley Raceway Tribute to Courtney and Cruisin' for Courtney was phenominal! It truly was wonderful having Jim, Anita, Cara and all of the CFC II volunteers as guests of Joe Padula and the Speedway. DJ Myers, Preston Dietz, Jody Grimes, Travis Vance and the rest of the D1 race team were truly wonderful as well. Congrats to DJ on his 2nd place finish and Dave Whetstone on his 6th place finish, both driving Courtney's cars!

Cruisin' for Courtney II is just one week away. Can you beleive it! If the weather is like today, Courtney's tribute is going to be huge! There will be an article in the Monday Tribune and Thursday Our Town. Late Model driver DJ Myers will be racing a commemorative Cruisin for Courtney door panel at Bedford and Thunder Valley the weekend after the cruise. The race car will be at the show where fans can sign the door for one dollar. All proceeds going to Ricki and Hunter.
