A forever friend is always there....
To smooth the times when things seem rough
To lend a hand when life gets tough
To be the sun during times of rain
To give the comfort that eases life's pain
To share a joke and share the smile
Or just to sit in silence for awhile
I know you've been hurting for what seem like years
But never once have I seen loss of hope in your tears
Everyone around you is lit by your smile
Their problems are gone for even a small while
The best times of my life are spent with you
Doing those stupid things we always do
Even though it never seems like much at all
You touch me in more ways than I can ever recall
We always say that we'll be gimps forever
Together we'll stay I'll leave you never
I wrote you this poem to show you I care
Don't lose your faith I'll always be there
